Singapore 8000 m mountains summit list

Mt Everest is the world highest summit at 8848 m. However, there are 13 other eight-thousanders on earth and many of which are technically more challenging than Mt Everest. Below is the list of Singaporeans and permanent residents (PR) who have reached the summit of eight-thousanders. In addition to this, we have also added other mountains of significance.

IMPORTANT NOTE. Many of the 8000m mountains have multiple summits such as Shishapangma, Manaslu, Broad Peak, Dhaulagiri. This record is based on reported successful summit as recognized by respective country's mountaineering association or agency. We respect the achievement by the mountaineers while recognizing that there are differences in opinions regarding the definition of reaching the summit of the mountain.
